The University of Comilla (UNIC) aims to be a prominent hub of higher education and research in the fields of Arts, Social Sciences, Pure Sciences, Engineering, Technology, and many more. Comilla has been providing education since March 14, 1995 with the vision of creating an environment that is both supportive and welcoming for students pursuing their studies. Currently, the university is offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in eight emerging disciplines such as: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), English, Economics, Sociology, Business Administration, and Law & Human Rights. The university is planning to add four more departments: Applied Statistics, Journalism, Civil Engineering, and Public Health.
